About Me
I am a multi-instrumentalist and singer with over ten years' experience as a wedding musician and double that as a performer! I play a range of genres and styles on various instruments including violin, viola, piano, and voice. I create personalised music programmes for weddings and other formal events: whether you want your favourite classical music for a special occasion, or a bespoke original composition for your walk down the aisle, I will work with you to ensure you get the perfect music for your special day.

Alice Nicholls put together the wonderful music for our wedding. The music was such an important part of our wedding ceremony and sounded beautiful on the day, creating just the atmosphere we were after. It made our special day feel even more special.
She was happy to use both the music we requested and created a unique waltz just for us, which we will always treasure.
Alice was also incredibly flexible as the covid rules at the time meant that, sadly, we were unable to have her there in person. Even then, she still found a way to produce and personalise music for us which still made her presence felt. Thankyou! x

Alice played violin for us during our ceremony and then a mix of piano and ukulele in the reception and it was all glorious.
They did all the strange songs we asked for (from Disney to Green Day via Grace Petrie) and helped us set up our PA as well as being a vibrant and lovely presence at the wedding.

Alice performed the music for our our wedding ceremony in the summer. She was amazing, not phased by our unusual music choices and spent time in the lead up to the wedding producing different arrangements of our chosen songs for us to choose between, and arranging them to make the pieces longer or shorter, as necessary. She was able to adapt very non weddingy music for the occasion. On the day, she provided her own equipment and liaised well with the venue's staff. As I was getting ready, I could hear the beautiful sounds of her rehearsal drifting up to me. She had recorded herself playing various parts of the tracks and then played the violin live over these, so you really get several musicians (or several Alices) for one. The music for our ceremony was utterly beautiful. Alice is friendly, professional and extremely talented, and I would recommend Alice to anyone wanting live music for their special day.
